CONCRETE BATCHING PLANTS
Concrete plants work with the logic of mixing ready-mixed concrete components in certain amounts. Cement, water, sand, gravel, crushed stone and aggregate constitute these components.
Some of the equipment that make up concrete plants are as follows:
-Aggregate Bunker
-Cement Silo
-Mixers
-Feeding Conveyor Belts
-Weighing Belts
-Aggregate Bucket
And it is the automation system for the controls of all this operation.
The number of hoppers in aggregate bunkers changes depending on demand. The characteristics that determine the number of hoppers are the diversity of the material to be used by increasing the production capacity.
The materials fed into the aggregate bunkers are transferred to the weighing belts under the aggregate bunker. The amount of material determined on the weighing belt is weighed and transferred to the buckets with the help of the feeding conveyor belt.
However, bucket system is not always used. In some project, transfer conveyor belt type system can be used in addition to bucket concrete plants. The materials transferred to the mixers with the help of a bucket or tape are mixed here and transferred to the truck mixer.
The cement to be stored in the cement silos is optional. The production capacity of the concrete batching plant determines this silo volume.
We can list some types of concrete batching plants used in businesses as follows;
